The purpose built centre is located on Church Lane, West Parley and opened in 1985. The branch offers many different amenities. Its physiotherapy room offers members specialised group sessions, a more one to one approach and the use of up to date disabled fitness equipment, Pilates and Yoga groups. We can offer private consultation with a CAB member also a qualified Counsellor and have a department that deals with the health and welfare of those whose lives have been affected by MS.

MS Society Workout
time for a workout!

On a more social front the members can enjoy morning coffee and biscuits, a subsidised 2 course lunch and an afternoon cup of tea, make use of the craft room, pop in shop, hairdressers, fully equipped 4 station computer room and a Quiet Room for a nap if needed.

There is a modern fleet of adapted mini buses to ferry the members in safety too and from the centre. Around 60/70 people visit the branch on each of the days its open.

The branch is almost totally run by a wonderful band of volunteers and we are always looking of more help as the numbers using the centre increases.

Open: Mon, Tues, Thurs from 9am to 3pm.

Residents oppose scrapyard plans

Residents in a quiet road in West Parley are urging ramblers, horse riders and cyclists to join them in opposing a planning application for a scrapyard in their road.

The planning application was submitted to East Dorset District Council in the Summer and attracted numerous objections from residents and horse riders but was withdrawn. Full details of the application are on the dorsetforyou web site – Dorset County Council Ref 3/17/2480.
