Wed 19th Nuts About Nature - Parley Woods, 10am - 12noon
The Moors Valley "Nuts about Nature" events are perfect for children of all ages with an interest in nature. Together with the Rangers families can explore different habitats and find out about the creatures that live there. All the sessions provide children with an opportunity to learn about wildlife in a fun "hands-on" experience, and its FREE!
Park in the Parish Council Car Park and walk into the woods in front of the Country Club entrance, and follow the signs. Come along and learn how to catch frogs, catch and name insects, build a den, use natural items to make art, help top up the contents of our 2 Bug Hotels.... and have lots of fun in the fresh air. Please share with your friends and make this event a real success. Afterwards, why not bring a picnic and sit and relax while the children enjoy the lovely Wooden Playground.
